This Brigata Client Privacy Policy describes our practices in the collection and use of personal information and how we maintain the security of that information.

2. Identifying purposes for Collection of Personal Information
The personal information collected for the purposes of the Brigata Client Privacy policy may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, social insurance number, birth date, as well as the name, address, telephone number, social insurance number and birth date of your spouse/joint account holder and may include other information such as financial institution information.
The personal information provided to Brigata Capital Management Inc. is used for the purposes of identification in establishing and processing account applications and account transactions, administering your accounts, providing you with information on your accounts such as account statements, tax receipts, proxy mailings, transaction confirmations and to enable us to address inquiries you may have.
Brigata Capital Management Inc. may share your personal information with third party service providers that provide services to us or on our behalf and with whom we contract to perform services. Brigata may also disclose your personal information to third parties as required by law, such as Revenue Canada for tax purposes and other third parties such as your financial advisor.
3. Consent
Your consent is required for Brigata to collect, use and disclose your personal information either expressed or implied, except when required by law.
4. Limiting Collection
The collection of personal information shall be limited to that which is necessary for the purposes identified. Information shall be collected by fair and lawful means.
5. Limiting use, disclosure and retention
Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the client or as required by law. Personal information shall be retained only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.
6. Accuracy
Brigata Capital Management Inc. will maintain personal information in a complete, accurate and up-to-date manner necessary for the purposes in which it is to be used. Brigata relies on its clients to provide them with current, complete and accurate information. Should any incorrect information be identified we will make the necessary changes to reflect accurate information.
7. Safeguards
Brigata Capital Management Inc. will protect all personal information by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. These measures may include physical security of offices, storage facilities and technical and procedural measures.
Brigata will generally protect the personal information provided to third party service providers by contractual agreements.
8. Openess
Brigata Capital Management Inc. will make available information concerning its policies and procedures concerning the use of personal information.
9. Individual Access
If you wish to access the personal information we have about you, you may request to review the information in your client record by writing to our Privacy Officer. If any information is incorrect, Brigata will correct or complete any personal information found to be inaccurate and incomplete.
Where appropriate, amended information will be transmitted to third parties having access to you personal information.
10. Challenging Compliance
If you have questions or concerns about compliance with the Client Privacy Policy, Brigata’s privacy officer will assist you in resolving your complaints or concerns. Please contact the person identified in Section 1.
